Summer 2021 Update

Dear friends,

It’s summer time!  We hope you are all staying cool and safe!  Dr. Song and our staff wanted to give you an update with some recent changes in our office.

  1. Our staff have all received our second vaccinations. Rest assured, we are continuing to keep everyone safe that enters our office with the same protocols and safety measures we had when we had reopened in summer of 2020 after the March 2020 lock down. Thank you all for your support and cooperation in keeping yourself and others safe.
  2. Our office is closed from July 1st to July 4th for Canada Day.
  3. Please note our office is also closed for our summer break from July 24th to August 8th. We will be checking our email and voicemails periodically during the break.  If you have an emergency and need to see a dentist urgently, an emergency contact phone number will be provided on our answering machine for existing patients to contact.
  4. With a heavy heart, please join us as we say goodbye to our long time hygienist, Josee. We understand she has been the preferred hygienist for many of our patients for many years.  We are sad to hear that she has decided to leave our office, but happy for her that she has chosen a path that she has been dreaming of for a while.  If you would like to send a personal note/email to Josee, please email us at: info@southsurreydentist.com and we will be more than happy to forward it directly to Josee.
  5. A congratulations is in order for our hygienist, Nina! She had a baby girl this past Spring and is still on maternity leave until further notice.  We look forward to her return and many adorable baby photos.

Now we would like to introduce our new staff members that have joined Dr. Song and her working family! You may have met some of them already:

Jennifer – Receptionist

Paula – Receptionist

Apeksha – Hygienist (for Nina’s maternity leave)

Maja – Hygienist

Mannat – Certified Dental Assistant

If it has been a while since we’ve seen you (pre Covid pandemic for example), Dr. Song would like to remind our patients to continue with your regular dental check-ups. Especially our patients with gum disease and periodontal issues. We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every other patient safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 604-538-2200 or visit our contact page.

If we have seen you recently, we look forward to seeing you at your next appointment!

Thank you for trusting us with your dental health. We value your trust and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends.

Sincerely,

Dr. Yiping Song and team
